Software developer

We are looking for a new talent to join our software team to develop our digital services. In your position you will contribute to the development of world-class power quality system interfaces and remote monitoring. Based on your interest, the work may cover all areas of IoT implementation from developing the communication between our smart devices and cloud, data analysis and processing in the cloud, to data visualization and microservices.

What we are looking for:

  • You are a recent graduate or finalizing your studies
  • Passionate about coding and continuous learning.
  • Experience of object-oriented programming
  • Knowledge of some programming language, i.e. C#, Java, Python, C++, etc.
  • Understanding of databases and cloud services
  • Ability to understand large entities

Mechanical design summer trainee

Are you looking to be the front-runner in the clean energy business and development? Are you interested in working with renewable energy, energy storage solutions and smart grids? We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and skilled summer trainee. In your position as a mechanical trainee, you will participate mechanical design and development of Merus Power product portfolio or larger compensation projects. The tasks can vary from layout or component design to subcontracting or documentation depending on ongoing R&D or customer projects.

What we are looking for:

  • Studies in mechanical engineering (BSc or MSc)
  • Experience of mechanical design
  • Experience of design programs such as SolidWorks and CADS or other design programs
  • Possible experience of working with PDM and ERP systems
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills, and good verbal Finnish skills. Other languages are a benefit.

R&D Summer trainee

Are you looking to be the front-runner in the clean energy business and development? Are you interested in working with renewable energy, energy storage solutions and smart grids? In your position as an R&D trainee, you will work on a selected R&D project as a development team member focusing on control systems or software development. The tasks can vary from simulations and design to testing and documentation depending on ongoing R&D or customer projects.

What we are looking for:

  • Studies in electrical engineering, with specialization in software and/or power electronics.
  • Experience with communications technology, programming languages (C++, etc.), embedded systems and HMI’s or user interfaces
  • Possible experience with design and simulation tools, programming languages, development platforms etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills, and good verbal Finnish skills. Other languages are a benefit.
