Merus Power receives Tampere University’s Student Association of Electrical Engineering pennant
Merus Power has been awarded Tampere University’s Student Association of Electrical Engineering pennant for its cooperation and open-minded approach to hiring graduates. The award was received by our Sales Director Markus Ovaskainen at the 55th-anniversary celebrations of the Student Association of Electrical Engineering in early February.
Sähkökilta has been the student organization for electrical engineering students at Tampere University since 1968. For Merus Power, Sähkökilta has been an important partner in the student community and a significant local educator of new talent. We are constantly looking for new competent and enthusiastic colleagues to ensure our company’s further growth. Merus Power is full of interesting and challenging tasks for people just starting out or who have been in the game for longer. For example, we offer internships and summer jobs for students, thesis jobs for those finishing their studies, opportunities to develop for recent graduates, and more experience for the already experienced.
On a proposal from the Honorary Committee, the Student Association’s Board of Directors decides to award the pennant to a person or an entity who, through their actions or deeds, has contributed to the Guild’s endeavors. We thank the Student Association for this recognition.

Merus Powerille Sähkökillan standaari
Merus Power on saanut Sähkökillan standaarin hyvästä yhteistyöstä ja ennakkoluulottomasta valmistumisen kynnyksellä olevien teekkareiden palkkaamisesta. Palkinnon vastaanotti myyntijohtajamme Markus Ovaskainen helmikuun alussa järjestetyissä Sähkökillan 55-vuotisjuhlissa.
Sähkökilta on ollut Tampereen Yliopiston Sähkötekniikan opiskelijoiden ainejärjestö jo vuodesta 1968. Sähkökilta on Merus Powerille ollut tärkeä opiskelijayhteisökumppani ja merkittävä uusien lahjakkuuksien paikallinen kouluttaja. Yrityksemme tarvitsee jatkuvasti lisää osaavia ja innokkaita tekijöitä kasvumme varmistamiseksi. Tarjoamme opiskelijoille harjoittelu- ja kesätyöpaikkoja, opintojaan päättäville diplomityöpaikkoja sekä vastavalmistuneille mahdollisuuden kehittyä mielenkiintoisissa ja haastavissa työtehtävissä. Unohtamatta tietenkään jo pidemmän kokemuksen omaavia ammattilaisia.
Standaari myönnetään kunniavaliokunnan esityksestä killan hallituksen päätöksellä henkilölle tai yhteisölle, joka toiminnallaan tai teoillaan edistänyt killan pyrkimyksiä. Kiitämme Sähkökilta ry:tä saamastamme tunnustuksesta.
